Mishawaka HS hosts college signing day for student athletes!
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Football and food have always gone hand and hand so what really is the most important of game day snacks? DoorDash unveiled its game day eats report. The crucial research was done on order data from football Sundays ranging September 13th 2020 to January 10th 2021.
The top 5 eats nationwide were mozzarella sticks, boneless wings, chips & salsa, Caesar salad, and pepperoni pizza. The top 5 game day eats in Indiana were chimichangas, breadsticks, mashed potatoes and gravy, fettuccini alfredo, and Reuben sandwich. Now for those in Michigan, top 5 foods were Coney island hot dog, potato wedges, spinach and artichoke dip, Chicken Tikka Masala, and strawberry cheesecake.
We also asked the people of Michiana! On twitter, 47% of people voted for wings, 24% chips and queso, 19% preferred pizza and only 10% requested mozzarella sticks.
ABC57 spent the morning at the Prized Pig in Mishawaka to hear how they are preparing for the big day. You can find further information about their business (and BBQ) here!
