Police in Rochester investigating shooting

FULTON COUNTY, Ind.— Police in Fulton County are investigating a shooting that happened on April 19, according to the Fulton County Sheriff.

Around 6:24 p.m. on April 19, police were notified of a shooting that had occurred in the S. 1000 block of C.R. 400 E in Rochester. 

Police were sent to the scene and other officers were sent to a local hospital where the victim had been taken.

During their investigation, police learned that shots were fired inside of a home during a domestic disturbance.

One victim was shot and taken to the hospital and was later taken to Fort Wayne for treatment. The victim’s condition is unknown, police said. 

Police did not release information about a suspect but said the investigation is ongoing.
