Passenger suffers minor injury after shots fired at vehicle

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating reports someone fired shots at an occupied vehicle Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 4800 block of Belleville Circle around 5 p.m. Sunday to investigate shots fired.

When they arrived, they found an occupied vehicle with damage from gunfire and a passenger who suffered a bruise to his leg in the incident.

The victim and two others were sitting in the car when the shots were fired.

No other injuries were reported.
