One pedestrian hit by vehicle in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A woman was hit by a vehicle Friday morning as she stood on the shoulder of the road, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 8:13 a.m., emergency personnel were called to the scene of a car vs. pedestrian crash on Dixon Street in Silver Creek Township.

A vehicle, driven by a Dowagiac man, allegedly struck a Dowagiac woman while she was standing on the side of the road.
