Officers arrested a man for possession of narcotics and a stolen firearm in South Haven

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – The Southwest Enforcement Team West detectives and officers from the South Haven Police Department reported their observation of a suspected drug deal between two people on Friday.

Officials reported a traffic stop followed for multiple violations, conducted by the police department.

Officers arrested the driver on preliminary charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, stated the department.

The South Haven Police Department also reports during the search of the driver, a pistol was located on his person which was reported stolen out of Portage, Michigan.

The 24-year-old male from South Haven was lodged on multiple felony charges, finished the report.
