Niles man crashes vehicle into wall

CASS COUNTY, Mich.—Around 8 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Department investigated a one vehicle crash involving a Niles resident.

Jerry Gross, 37, was traveling west bound on US-12 when he began having a medical problem.

As a result Gross lost control of the vehicle which then ran off the road and hit a wall.

Gross was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka for minor injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not considered contributing factors in the crash.
