Motorcyclist killed in crash in Three Rivers

THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- A motorcyclist was killed in a single vehicle crash at Hoffman and Wood streets Sunday evening, according to Three Rivers Police.

Police said around 9 p.m., the 45-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Hoffman Street when they lost control, drove off the road and struck a pole.

Firefighters/EMS responded to the scene and transported the driver to the hospital.

The driver was then flown to a Kalamazoo hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

Police are withholding the driver's name pending notification of next of kin.
