South Bend School Board of Trustees reviewing the code of conduct
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Mishawaka mother-of-two Erika Pullin-Costilla stopped by ABC 57 News Wednesday morning to discuss upcoming book signings for her recently published children's book "Benny and the Jett Meet La Luna."
According to New York City-based Page Publisihing, Pullin-Costilla's book is "an exciting short story for children about the night adventure and learnings of two boys with their friend La Luna."
Pullin-Costilla tells us the story is based on her two sons, Bennett and Levi Jett.
"They were really excited... we spend a lot of story time and prepping before bed. So, that whole imagery of the kids being in their beds, it was just all very personal," Pullin-Costilla said.
You can buy a copy at bookstores everywhere including the Barnes and Noble at University Park Mall, or online at Amazon, Google Play, Apple iTunes or Kobo.
Her next book signing is set for January 20 at the Barnes and Noble at the University Park Mall. For more information you can check out her Facebook page.
She tells us she plans to publish a second book in the series later this year.
