Metro Homicide Unit looking for suspect in June 20 murder

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s help in finding J’Ya Damona McKelry, who investigators have reason to believe is responsible for the murder of Charles Edwards on June 20.

Edwards was killed in the area of Olive Street and Elwood Avenue on Sunday morning, Metro Homicide reported.  

McKelry also has an unrelated felony warrant for aggravated assault out of Illinois.

McKelry should be considered armed and dangerous.
