More wet weather arriving later tonight, but sunnier skies after
MISHAWAKA, Ind – A move late Friday afternoon by Menards has many wondering if their proposed plan to move their Main Street location in Mishawaka to Grandview Flats is in jeopardy.
ABC57 confirmed Menards withdrew an agenda item from Tuesday’s Common Council meeting in Mishawaka regarding outdoor storage.
At Mishawka’s Common Council meeting on August 19thcommunity members voiced their concerned about the proposed project.
Residents at the meeting said they are concerned about increased traffic and how the move would change the ambiance of the neighborhood.
At this time it’s unclear how the withdrawal of an agenda item at Tuesdays’ meeting would affect the project.
Tuesday’s Mishawaka Common Council meeting is still scheduled to happen and ABC57 will bring you the latest developments.
