Maple Syrup Day happening at Maple Wood Nature Center

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – The annual celebration of the maple sugar harvest is underway this St. Patrick’s Day.

Maple Syrup Day celebrations will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Maple Wood Nature Center located at 4550 E. 100 S. in LaGrange, Indiana.

Visitors can enjoy syrup making demonstrations, kettle corn, wagon rides through maple woods and pancakes served by the South Milford Lions. Pancakes will be served from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for $7.

Free entertainment is available for kids throughout the day starting at 8 a.m., including a puppet show by Roz Puppets featuring Punch and Judy as well as the Maple Story Reader.
