Light snow showers continue through today. Most of Michiana will only pick up around one additional inch of snow. Areas near Lake Michigan will continue to see lake effect snow today and tonight, and may pick up 1-3 additional inches of snow. Temperatures today climb into the low 20s.
Wind picks up tonight, which means cooler wind chills heading into Valentine's Day. Sunday morning, feels like temperatures have the potential to drop below zero. There is a chance for additional snow showers Sunday evening into early Monday morning.
Temperatures will stay below normal through this week. The next system we are tracking with accumulating snow is Monday evening into early Tuesday morning, so plan ahead that your Tuesday morning drive could be slow going.
Looking ahead - temperatures look to jump closer to normal (in the low 30s) near the end of the 10-day forecast.
