Lake Michigan College hosts virtual college fair

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Lake Michigan College is hosting a free virtual college fair to answer questions for high school students, parents, and adult students interested in attending or returning to or transferring college. 40 colleges across the country will take part in the fair.

The event happens Monday, November 16th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be four virtual sessions where representatives from each college will give small presentations.

“Researching and visiting prospective colleges and universities even without a pandemic can be a time-consuming process. This year has been extra challenging for students who couldn’t make college visits or meet in-person with admissions staff. We wanted to make it just a little easier by bringing these colleges and universities to them,” said Jeremy Schaeffer, LMC’s Director, Admissions and Recruitment.

The evening ends with a Q&A session where students can ask questions that may not have been covered or need more explanation.
