Kosciusko County man arrested for possession of child pornography

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A Claypool man was arrested by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on a preliminary charge of possession of child pornography.
In January 2019, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent a tip to the task force.
As a result of their investigation in to the tip, the task force obtained a search warrant. The search warrant was executed Thursday morning and resulted in the arrest of 51-year-old Kenneth R. Hyatt.
He is being held without bond on one count of possession of child pornography, a level 6 felony, and two counts of possession of child pornography (victims under the age of 12), a level 5 felony.
Investigators are still gathering evidence in the case.
