On the same day Notre Dame football lost its defensive coordinator, the team also lost one of its top offensive weapons.
Junior wide receiver Eqanimeous St. Brown declared for the NFL Draft with a statement on social media that he would forego his senior season.
After barely seeing the field in his freshman season, St. Brown shined in his breakout sophomore campaign in 2016. That fall, he tallied 58 catches for 961 yards and 9 touchdowns. While his junior season didn't result in the same production, St. Brown finished his career with 92 receptions, 1484 yards, and 13 touchdowns.
In his statement, St. Brown said he still plans to complete his goal of earning a degree from Notre Dame.
