Investigators identify two people found deceased in St. Joseph home

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – The two people who were found deceased in a home in St. Joseph on Sunday have been identified, the St. Joseph Public Safety Department announced.

The two people have been identified as 78-year-old Benjamin Head and his ex-wife, 72-year-old Ruth Kruger.

The person who called to report the deaths, Kurt Kruger, is the brother of Ruth Kruger.

All three had been living in the home for a long period of time, according to reports.

Kurt Kruger was arraigned in the Berrien County Trial Court for failing to report the deceased bodies.

An autopsy is underway.
