Indiana Department of Transportation seeking input on U.S. 30 and U.S. 31 corridors

The Indiana Department of Transportation is looking for the community's input on planning studies for the U.S. 30 and U.S. 31 corridors in northern Indiana.

Residents, area businesses, and others who use these highways can are invited to give input on what needs or concerns should be addressed in improvements to the roads.

Comments can be submitted via project websites for ProPEL U.S. 30 and ProPEL U.S. 31.

The two-year planning studies follow the Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) process that the Department of Transportation will use to address corridor challenges and needs.

The studies allow the department to communicate with residents about long-term solutions for the highways.

In addition to the project websites, the Department of Transportation will also host public information meetings to meet with communities.

More information about the meetings will be announced on the project websites.
