I-94 repaving near Paw Paw begins Monday

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. – A section of I-94 will be repaved starting Monday, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

Road work will stretch from west of the M-51 interchange to east of 40th Street.

The repaving work will also include adding guardrails, new signs, widening the median shoulder, and more.

Drivers can expect shoulder closures during the day and intermittent single-lane closures at night.

From May 31 to June 14, the I-94 ramps at M-51 (Exit 56) will be closed.

The $6.7 million project is expected to be finished by July 22.
