Homicide victim found alone inside home

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a deceased person on October 6th just after 1:30 p.m. The person was identified as Bradley J. Hodges, a 43-year-old male resident of South Bend.
Hodges was found alone in his home on Locust Road.
An autopsy was done the following day with a forensic pathologist determining the cause of death to be a single gunshot wound.
Hodges was also declared a victim of homicide.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was activated for the investigation.
Police currently have no suspects in the case.
Hodges was last seen alive October 5th around 8 p.m.
