Holiday market at Howard Park canceled due to COVID-19 concerns

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The holiday market planned for Howard Park this month has been canceled due to concerns for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Out of an abundance of caution for our community, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Howard Holiday Market this year. We were hopeful we could gather our community to kickoff the holiday season in a special way, but the growing concern for COVID-19 cases outweighs the ability to host such an event. We hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday season!” event organizers wrote in a post on Howard Park’s Facebook page.

The outdoor holiday market was scheduled to run during the first three weeks of December.
