Educators who want to take their K-12 students on field trips to Indiana state parks or state-managed lakes during the 2019-2020 school years can now apply for grants through the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation (INRF), the Indiana DNR announced Monday.

The grants are available for public, private, parochial, or home-school educators.

The maximum grant award is $250 per application. Applications will be accepted from May 1 through June 30 prior to the school year for which the grant is requested. Applications must be postmarked by June 30.

Applicants will receive notification regarding potential grant awards by September 1.
