Four people arrested after drug bust in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Four people were arrested Wednesday after the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team found a large amount of illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and stolen property at a location in Dowagiac, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Drug Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant Wednesday in the 500 block of North Front St. Detectives detained five people found at the address and began to search the premise.

While searching, detectives found a large amount of methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and stolen property, reports said.

A 31-year-old man, 23-year-old man, 21-year-old woman, and 32-year-old woman each face charges for possession of methamphetamine, reports said.

This investigation is ongoing.

The Dowagiac Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cass County Felony Detectives assisted in the search warrant.
