Four Michiana high schools rank in top 10 on AP high school football state rankings

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.-- November 1 marks the first round of playoffs for Michigan high school football.

The Associated Press State Rankings came out earlier this week and four Michiana area teams made the top ten.

Defending state champions, Edwardsburg (9-0) is ranked #2 in the state in Division 3. They will host St. Joseph for the first playoff game.

Undefeated Berrien Spings is ranked for the first time this season, coming in at #9 in Division 5. They will take on Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Prep at St. Joseph High School.

Brandywine came in at #2 in Division 6. They’re hoping to continue their perfect season and win their first playoff game at home against Constantine.

Undefeated Cassopolis is ranked #5 in Division 7 and will play at home against White Pigeon.

All playoff games are set to kick off at 7 p.m. on November 1.

ABC57’s Friday Night Football will have highlights of the games on Friday night at 11 p.m.
