Food Bank of Northern Indiana announces food distribution sites June 15-18

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has provided an updated list of sites where food distributions will take place during the week of June 15-18.

Here are the locations, dates and times of the distribution sites:

• June 15 (Elkhart County):
  • Wakarusa Elementary School, 400 N. Washington Street, Wakarusa, IN 46573
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 16 (St. Joseph County):
  • Kroger, 906 S. Merrifield Avenue, Mishawaka, IN 46544
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 17 (Kosciusko County):
  • Mentone Elementary School, 301 E. Jackson Street, Mentone, IN 46539
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 17 (LaPorte County):
  • La Porte Civic Auditorium, 101 Ridge Street, LaPorte, IN 46350
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 18 (Marshall County):
  • Bremen Fire Department, 123 S. Center Street, Bremen, IN 46506
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 18 (St. Joseph County):
  • Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 702 Chapin Street, South Bend, IN 46601
  • 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All items, included perishable and dry foods, will be offered for free.

The items will already be boxed and bagged upon pickup.

Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and each household will be limited to a single bag of food.

Drive-thru distribution will be provided. You will be required to remain in your car during the process.
