Florida police arrest Niles man on warrant for one count of rape

NILES, Mich. -- Venice, Florida police traveled to Michigan on December 12 to arrest a 61-year-old Niles man on an outstanding warrant for one count of rape with a weapon.
Robert Thomas, 61, was arrested in the city of Niles without incident.
He is in the Berrien County Jail awaiting extradition.
