A hot, mostly dry, and sunny day to start the month of July. Temperatures Wednesday morning start in the upper 60s, but quickly warm to the 80s by 11 a.m. This afternoon we reach a high around 90. Skies are generally sunny today.
Overnight skies are clear, giving temperatures a chance to drop to the mid 60s.
Thursday and Friday will be similar-- dry with mostly sunshine. The 4th of July weekend will be hot, with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s. If you plan to be outside for the holiday, take regular breaks inside and stay hydrated.
We are in the humid to muggy range over the next few days, which will make it feel slightly warmer than what you read on the thermometer.
The next chance for precipitation is Monday and Tuesday. Both days look partly to mostly sunny, with chances for a few showers or thunderstorms. With little to no precipitation in our forecast, remember to water plants regularly.
Today: Sunny and hot. High 90.
Tonight: Clear skies. Low 66.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 91.
Friday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 92.
