Woman killed in crash on SR 23 at Florence Avenue

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- One woman is dead after a crash at SR 23 and Florence Avenue in Granger, according to the St. Joseph County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team.
The crash happened Friday afternoon between a car and a truck at one of the entrances to the Heritage Square complex.
The 80-year-old woman was allegedly turning left into the Martin's Supermarket in Heritage Square when she was struck by a truck.
Three workers were in the truck, which was towing equipment behind it.
SR 23 was shut down at Cleveland Road because of the crash.
