Extreme heat information for Liverpool vs. Dortmund soccer match

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Notre Dame Stadium’s first-ever competitive soccer match between Liverpool FC and Borussia Dortmund is set for Friday.

Extreme heat is expected in the area during the soccer game.

According to officials at Notre Dame, fans will be allowed to bring unopened, sealed water bottles into the stadium. Opened bottles of any kind will not be permitted.

Water filling stations and water fountains will be available on the stadium’s concourse.

The Joyce Center’s water fountains and restrooms will be available to guests until 8:30 p.m. at Gates 1, 2 and 9.

Notre Dame encourages fans to drink plenty of water, wear a brimmed hat and loose, lightweight clothes, and sunscreen.
