Elkhart Public Library hosting Woodstock experience 50 years after original

ELKHART, Ind.—The Elkhart Public Library is hosting a Woodstock experience 50 years after the original “summer of love.”

On Saturday, July 27 at Ox Bow County Park, the nationally touring Jimi Hendrix tribute band Kiss the Sky will headline the show that will feature Hendrix’s set list from his Woodstock performance.

Special guests Memphis Underground, High Gravity and Wendy Martin and the B-Side will also perform.

Local food vendors and a beer garden will be available.

The meadow will open at 4 p.m. and music will start at 5 p.m. and last until around 10:30 p.m.

Parking and seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Blankets and camp chairs are welcome at the event.
