Wednesday, June 30th, 2021
After almost two weeks of rain and storms, drier weather will finally return to Michiana, just in time for the holiday weekend. Tonight, there still could be a stray shower or storm around, but most will stay dry. Temperatures will fall into the middle 60s.
The cold front will finally push through Michiana Thursday morning. While this could spark a few light showers early in the morning, most of the day will be dry. Highs will hover near 80 degrees with clearing skies by Thursday afternoon. Friday looks pleasant, with much lower humidity and highs in the middle 70s under mostly sunny skies. If you're planning on heading to the lakeshore, there is a high swim risk Thursday and for most of the day Friday as well.
Saturday looks very nice as well with highs in the lower 80s and lots of sunshine. The continued sunshine will help highs will approach 90 degrees on July 4th on Sunday. We'll stay hot into the start of next week, with temperatures approaching 90 degrees on Monday and Tuesday as well. Rain and storm chances don't return until the middle of next week.
Tonight: A stray shower or storm possible. Otherwise, mostly cloudy. Low 64.
Tomorrow: A shower possible early, then partly sunny. High 80.
Friday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High 76.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High 82.
Sunday (Independence Day): Sunny and warmer. High 89.
