Domestic violence shelter to reopen after temporary shutdown

BOURBON, Ind. – The Heminger House, an emergency domestic violence shelter for Marshall, Starke, and Fulton counties, will reopen Wednesday after being forced to shut its doors.

According to the organization, the shelter temporarily shut down due to funding restraints on June 29.

The shelter located in Bourbon, is open 24 hours a day everyday.
