Corewell Health South hospitals awarded "A" in patient safety

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. - Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital and Corewell Health Niles Hospital both achieved an "A" Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

The national distinction recognizes the hospitals for protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care.

The Hospital Safety Grade system is peer-reviewed and free to the public. Results are based on more than 30 national performance measures.
