Rain returns tonight, storm chances picking up into tomorrow
Today will be cloudy and gloomy, but not as cold across Michiana compared to yesterday. Highs will reach the lower 40s with a few sprinkles possible. A powerful winter storm system will impact the Midwest this weekend. Michiana is firmly on the warm side of this storm, so we'll be dealing with mostly rain and very windy conditions at times. Rain showers develop by the afternoon on Friday, with heavy rain possible with a few rumbles of thunder by Friday night. Temperatures will tumble from the 50s into the 20s on Saturday with 30+ mph winds and higher gusts likely. Some snow could mix in with the rain showers on Saturday, but no accumulation is anticipated. Sunday looks to be a beautiful day with highs in the middle 40s and plenty of sun. Highs will approach 60 degrees by the middle of next week, keeping accumulating snow out of the forecast until at least the week of Christmas.
Today: Cloudy with a few sprinkles possible. High 42.
Tonight: Cloudy and chilly. Low 32.
Tomorrow: Cloudy and mild with rain showers developing by the afternoon. Rain could be heavy at times at night. High 55.
Saturday: Rain and snow showers and windy. Falling temperatures, settling into the 30s by the afternoon.
