Multiple street closures announced for Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Utilities Water Department has closed part of S. Logan Street for repairs.

The street will be closed between Lincolnway East and W. 6th Street starting immediately.

The closure is due to emergency water main repairs.

Weather permitting, the department expects the closure to take place through Tuesday, April 30.

S. Byrkit Avenue will be closed to all traffic between E. 12th Street and E. 11th Street, according to Rieth Riley Construction.

The closure will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 29.

The work is expected to last through Friday, May 24.

The city was also informed by NIPSCO that E. 12th Street will be closed to eastbound traffic.

It will be closed from Campbell Street to Beiger Street starting on Monday, April 29 at 7 a.m.

The closure is for gas main relocation work.

The work is expected to last through Friday, May 24.
