Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating hit and run that injures three

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A hit and run crash injuries three people on Friday at 2:30 am, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

It took place on M-51 and Edwards Street in Pokagon Township.

According to deputies, one vehicle was traveling northbound on M-51, when another vehicle allegedly collided with them after ignoring a stop sign. That vehicle left the scene but was found unoccupied at the 31000 block of Edwards Street, deputies said.

The driver and two passengers in the vehicle that was hit were transported to the hospital for their injuries.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, but seatbelts were worn.
