Candi-dating: Meet your South Bend Common Council, Mayoral candidates

The American Democracy Project of IU South Bend and the League of Women Voters of the South Bend Area are inviting South Bend voters to a new type of candidate event that will give you a chance to speak with candidates in an informal setting - similar to speed dating.

During the event, the candidates will be seated at small tables and will change tables, like at a speed dating event. You can enjoy food and beverages while talking with the candidates.

The first event, on March 21, is for district candidates for the South Bend Common Council.

Professor Elizabeth Bennion, who directs IU South Bend’s American Democracy Project, will facilitate the sessions.
