Friday, February 18, 2022
Snow showers will move in again tonight across Michiana, but the bigger impact will be the wind. Blowing and drifting snow, especially in more open/rural areas, could be a problem into tomorrow morning as winds gust over 40 mph overnight. Snow showers wrap up by lunchtime Saturday, and most spots will see snow totals stay under an inch. Then, it's breezy and cold. Daytime temperatures will struggle to get to 20 degrees with lows in the single digits likely into early Sunday morning. Sunday will be sunny and windy, with more gusts of over 40 mph possible as highs catapult into the 40s. Temperatures will be in the 40s Monday and near 50 on Tuesday. Rain is likely Monday night into Tuesday, and could cause more flooding issues with another round of rain on top of melting snow. Cold weather returns thereafter, with highs in the 20s Wednesday.
Tonight: Windy with snow showers. Watch out for blowing/drifting snow. Evening temperatures in the 20s, overnight temperatures in the teens
Saturday: Snow showers in the morning, then partly cloudy and breezy. Highs near 20 degrees.
Sunday: Sunny, windy, and much milder. High 42.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with rain arriving late. High 45.
