Astronomy night comes to Cobus Creek

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Elkhart County Parks will host a Summer Astronomy Night on September 18th at Cobus Creek County Park. The program will explore Greek and Roman mythology around constellation names and discuss how stars change through the seasons.

The event begins at 9 p.m., lasts for two hours, and is free to the public though registration is required ahead of time.

Weather permitting, people will also have an opportunity to gaze into the heavens through a Dobsonian reflector telescope.

Face coverings are required and social distancing should be practiced to keep everyone safe during the event.
