The National Weather Service’s "Safe Place Selfie" day is April 3.
The day promotes severe weather preparedness by asking people to share where they would go at work or at home when weather becomes dangerous.

Our ABC 57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Team kicks off our Project Tornado the end of April! They go to local schools to teach kids about severe weather and where to find their Safe Spot.
