Another summer day with storm chances for Memorial Day

While some stray showers or storms can't be ruled out this evening, Michiana's weather should stay mostly quiet tonight. Lows will dip into the middle 60s.

Thunderstorms are possible by the afternoon on Memorial Day, as temperatures stay in the middle 80s and the humidity returns as well. More afternoon thunderstorms could find Michiana on Tuesday as well. Heat index values over the next two days could approach 90 degrees in some spots.

Showers and storms look more likely and will be more widespread on Wednesday, as highs dip closer to 80 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday. After storms wrap up Thursday night, drier, sunnier and less humid weather sets up for the weekend.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 66.

Memorial Day: Scattered thunderstorms. High 85.

Tuesday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 85.

Wednesday: Thunderstorms likely. High 82.
