Lake effect snow showers will impact northwestern Michiana/the snow belt this morning. Some in this area could see 2-4" of snowfall with localized higher totals possible, but most will likely see 1-2". Roads are still wet and slushy this morning, main roads won't cause too much trouble for the morning commute, but back/side roads could still have some slick spots. Temperatures hover around freezing again today, so snow will once again be wet and slushy. Snow showers will last into this evening, moving out later in the night. Expect more light snow Friday afternoon and breezy conditions. Our weather pattern stays active through the end of the weekend with more snow showers Saturday and Sunday. The beginning of February looks to be colder, with highs in the lower 20's and upper teens, and some nights potentially dipping into the single digits.
Today: Lake effect snow. High 33.
Tonight: Snow showers early. Low 18.
Friday: PM snow showers. Breezy. High 34.
Saturday: PM snow showers. High 30.
