85-year-old man fatally stabbed at southern Michigan store

ADRIAN, Mich.—An 85-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a Meijer in Michigan, according to the Adrian Police Department.
On Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the Meijer store in Adrian for reports of a stabbing.
Officers were told that a shopper, who is a CPL holder, had intervened and had the suspect at gunpoint, police said.
Police arrived to the scene and took the 29-year-old suspect into custody.
The victim, an 85-year-old man, was stabbed multiple times in the head and neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Adrian Police Department.
