Indiana Michigan Power releases estimated times for power restoration

Fewer than 200 Indiana Michigan Power customers remain without power after two rounds of severe storms came through the area Sunday evening and early Monday.
High winds from the storms caused downed trees and power lines. Crews have found 60 broken or damaged poles, 213 spans of wire down and 19 damaged transformers.
Customer outages as of 6:26 p.m. Tuesday
- South Bend 54
- Elkhart 75
- Three Rivers 14
Crews expect to have power restored to 90% of customers in Elkhart, South Bend, Three Rivers and Buchanan by 11 p.m. Tuesday.
