Wall of Honor

Click here to submit a photo of a veteran for our Wall of Honor.

*Please note - New submissions can take up to three working days to be added.

Weigel Broadcasting Co. launched the Wall of Honor on ABC57.com to salute Michiana service members. Members of the military and their families and friends are invited to upload a photo of the military heroes and heroines in their life as a way of honoring their service and sacrifice to our country.

“Everyone knows someone who volunteered for military service. We wanted a way to bring recognition to those who sacrifice so much so we can have our freedoms,” said Aaron Ramey, General Manager of WBND/ABC57, WCWW/CW25 and WMYS/My Michiana 69.

ABC 57’s News Director Kelley Dickens shared her personal connection with the military. “Having been born on an Army base gives me a unique affinity for those who serve,” said Dickens. “The Wall of Honor can help us capture the gratitude and appreciation so many have for those who fight for our freedom.”

Dad was the recipient of 2 Bronze Stars with Valor and a Purple Heart. He succumbed to heart disease that set in prematurely after his return from Vietnam and exposure to Agent Orange. He didn't talk much about his experience in Vietnam and despite his health issues, he never complained and felt very blessed to return home and start a family, when so many did not make it home. God Bless our veterans!
