SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The wait is finally over. The bald eagle’s eggs have hatched at St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend.
The eggs were laid four days apart but hatched on within hours of one another.
The community has been waiting the arrival of the eaglets for weeks and around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, the second egg broke through.
