SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Downtown South Bend's Summer Restaurant Week started Monday and continues through August 4.
The event features special menu items priced at $11, $22 and $33 for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals.
“It gives a great discount, great deals for all the locally owned restaurants in downtown. I think it’s a great way to have local businesses collaborating together and marketing together. We give a nice check to the children’s hospital here in town, which is a great cause for all of us," said Jeff Morauski, co-owner of Chicory Cafe.
Participating restaurants include:
- Café Navarre
- Chicory Café
- Chocolate Café
- Cinco 5 International
- East Bank Emporium
- Fiddler’s Hearth
- LaSalle Grill
- LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern
- PEGGS
- Render Kitchen & Bar
- South Bend Brew Werks
- Spirited
- Sunny Italy Café
- Tapastrie
- Tippecanoe Place Restaurant & Studebaker Brewing Co.
- Vegetable Buddies
- Woochi Japanese Fusion & Bar
Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to Beacon Children's Hospital.
