Sturgis man killed in crash on Indiana Toll Road

LA GRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- A man from Sturgis, Michigan, was killed in a two vehicle crash on the Indiana Toll Road Monday morning, according to Indiana State Police.

Police were called to the 109.6 mile marker around 7:10 a.m. Monday to investigate the two vehicle crash.

The crash happened 2.5 miles east of the Middlebury exit.

Police said a Crown Victoria driven by 41-year-old Brian Fox of Sturgis, traveled from the westbound lanes, across the center median and into the eastbound lanes.

The Crown Victoria was struck by an eastbound van driven by a man from Pennsylvania.

Fox was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van was taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
