MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A St. Joseph County deputy was involved in crash in Mishawaka on Saturday at 12:40 p.m..
St. Joseph County dispatch said the accident took place near the intersection of Bittersweet Road and Lincolnway.
Officials say 71 year-old Connie Worns of Mishawaka was pulling out of Martin's plaza on Bittersweet when she collided with a vehicle driven by Corporal Dan Bodle.
Officer Bodle was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released. Worns did not suffer any injuries.
