South Shore Line to give free rides to veterans and active duty personnel

MICHIANA – The South Shore Line will be offering free rides on Veterans Day.

The train line announced that they will be inviting all veterans and active-duty military personal to ride free on all trains starting Friday, Nov. 9.

The free rides will last until the observed Veterans Day on Monday Nov. 12.

During fare collections, passengers should tell train personnel of their veteran or military status in order to get their free ride.

The line is not requiring identification.

The South Shore Line is offering the free rides to show their gratitude for veterans and active-duty military personnel.
