South Bend man suffers gunshot wound

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – One person was injured following a shooting that occurred on Indiana Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

A man walked into Memorial Hospital at 3:00 p.m. with a gunshot wound in his buttocks.

The man stated he had been shot near the intersection of Indiana Avenue and Kendall Street around 2:40 p.m.

According to officials there have been no arrests made and neither the victim nor any suspects can be named at this time.
